API Usage Policy
This API Usage Policy governs how Lumigenc connects to and interacts with third-party social media APIs including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
1. Scope & API Integrations
Lumigenc software applications (such as Sequor) integrate with official developer APIs provided by LinkedIn Corporation and Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook & Instagram) to allow users to schedule, publish, and analyze social media content.
2. OAuth 2.0 Authentication & User Consent
Account authorization is handled exclusively through official OAuth 2.0 flows. Lumigenc never prompts for or stores your social media passwords. When you authorize Sequor, you explicitly consent to specific scopes (e.g., `w_member_social`, `pages_manage_posts`, `instagram_basic`).
3. Token Storage & Encryption
OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens retrieved from LinkedIn and Meta APIs are stored in encrypted databases using AES-256 encryption. Tokens are decrypted in memory only when executing authorized post publishing or analytics retrieval jobs.
4. Social Media Data Usage & Non-Disclosure
Data retrieved from third-party APIs (such as post engagement metrics, follower totals, and post comments) is used solely to render analytics dashboards inside your Sequor account. We do not aggregate or sell third-party API data to external brokers.
5. Revoking Permissions & Disconnecting Accounts
You may disconnect linked social profiles at any time inside your Sequor account settings. Disconnecting an account immediately deletes associated access tokens from our active database. You may also revoke Lumigenc's permissions directly inside your LinkedIn or Meta security settings.
